The search is on for a senior associate or counsel with 4+ years of transactional entertainment experience, and an associate in the 1-5 year range.

CORPORATE

Austin – For the third year in a row Austin has the top ranking on the U.S News list of the best place to live among America’s 125 largest metro areas. We are currently working with a great firm on their search for a corporate associate with 2-4 years of private equity experience. 

Atlanta – International law firm seeks an M&A associate with 3-5 years of experience working with private companies. 

Baltimore – International law firm seeks an associate with 2-4 years of experience to join their life sciences transactional group.

Boston – Things are hopping in Boston, with several prestigious firms recently opening shop there. Opportunities abound for associates with 1-5 years of private fund formation experience, and associates with 2-6 years of M&A, private equity and/or general corporate experience.

Dallas – International law firm seeks an associate with 3-6 years of corporate experience that should include M&A, private equity, and capital markets

Denver: The Mile High City holds second place on the 2019 U.S News list of the best place to live among America’s 125 largest metro areas. Denver is almost in the center of the United States with a booming tech industry only surpassed by Silicon Valley. There are great opportunities with firms of all sizes and cultures for M&A associates with 1-5 years of experience, and corporate associates with 3-7 years of experience advising private funds on regulatory matters.  

Houston: Home to the Astros, Houston boasts of having the lowest housing costs among 27 major U.S. cities. Firms in the area are currently searching for corporate associate with 3-6 years of M&A, private equity and/or capital markets experience. This is the place to go if you have an interest in oil and gas law. 

Los Angeles – According to relocity.com, “You haven’t lived until you’ve experienced a winter in Los Angeles.” There are a lot of great options for corporate attorneys with firms of all sizes and cultures, both Downtown and on the West Side. Current searches are focused on associate with 2-7 years of M&A, private equity, and/or general corporate experience.

Also, one very interesting opportunity with a brand new boutique size office of a prestigious international law firm, just steps from the beach. They are searching for a senior level associate or counsel with 6+ years of experience advising public companies on disclosure and corporate governance matters, including Exchange Act Compliance and Regulation FD.

Miami – International law firm seeks a corporate associate with 2-5 years of experience that should include: M&A, SEC compliance and reporting, and public and private offerings. 

New York – Metropolismoving.com says it best, “Simply put, Manhattan can feel like it is the center of the universe.” If you are already living there, enough said, right?! Corporate associates are in high demand. Current NYC searches are focused on M&A associates with 2-5 years of experience, and senior level attorneys with 6+ years of M&A, securities, and/or private equity experience.

North Carolina – National law firm seeks an associate with 3-8 of experience that should include: M&A, private equity, corporate finance, and general corporate matters. 

Orange County, CA – International law firm seeks an associate with 3-7 years of experience advising investment advisors and private funds on regulatory matters, that should include the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. 

Palo Alto – According to livability.com, “Incredible public schools and some of the most brilliant minds in the world make this California city one of the most coveted in the U.S.” If you are a corporate associate at any level, there is a plethora of opportunity for you here. Current searches are focused on corporate associates with 3-5 years of M&A, venture capital, emerging company transactions, public and private offerings, and/or pubic company representation. A life sciences background is the golden ticket and always a plus.

Phoenix – International law firm seeks a corporate associate with 4-6 years of M&A and general corporate experience. Securities experience is a plus.

Salt Lake City – International law firm seeks a corporate associate with 6-8 years of M&A, private equity, and SEC experience. Utah Bar required.

San Diego – Moveto.com says about living in San Diego, “You get to spend your money on something other than rent. Compared to Los Angeles and the Bay Area, rent and mortgages are fairly low.” Current searches are focused on associates with 2-4 years of M&A, public offerings, and venture capital. Also, mid-level attorneys with 4-7 years of M&A, IPO’s and/or venture capital experience. Experience working with start-ups and emerging growth companies is a plus. 

San Francisco – Cable cars, the Golden State Bridge, and home to the largest competition of American wines in the world, San Francisco sits on 7 miles of 50 rolling hills.There is a lot of opportunity right now for corporate attorneys at all levels and with firms of all sizes and cultures. Current searches are focused on associates with 2-6 years of M&A experience, and corporate associates in the 2-4 year range with experience that includes venture capital financings, pubic offerings, and work with start-ups. We are also working with a great firm on their search for a senior associate or counsel with 6+ years of M&A and general/securities experience.  

Seattle – According to U.S. News, Seattle is the ninth best place to live among America’s 125 largest metro areas. Home of Starbucks and Microsoft, and you can see Mt Rainier, a 14,000 FT. volcano from downtown Seattle. Current searches in the area are focused on corporate associates with 3-4 years of M&A, venture capital, private equity, and/or capital markets. We are also working with a great firm on their search for a corporate associate with 4+ years of SEC compliance, corporate securities, and corporate governance experience.

Virginia – International law firm seeks a corporate associate with 2-4 years of public company, capital markets, and public securities experience. 

Washington, DC– Yes, it’s the capital, but did you know that Washington, DC also has an incredible food scene? And where else can you watch the Supreme Court in action. Current searches in the area are focused on corporate associates with 2-6 years of experience advising public companies on securities regulation and corporate governance matters, including Exchange Act disclosure requirements. Also, associates with 3-7 years of experience advising investment advisors and private funds on regulatory matters, including the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
